Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices beef bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cheddar cheese soup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Season with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese soup, 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, and half of the crumbled beef bacon.
- Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Fold the beef mixture into the cheese mixture.
- Spread evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and beef bacon.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with diced pickles, green onions, and parsley.
