Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones are a fun and indulgent appetizer featuring crispy tater tot cones filled with seasoned ground beef, crispy beef bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and classic cheeseburger toppings. Perfect for parties, game days, or a creative family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 32 frozen tater tots, thawed slightly
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices beef bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons diced pickles
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin and spray with cooking spray.
  3. Press 4 thawed tater tots into each muffin cup, forming a cone or cup shape up the sides.
  4. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Meanwhile, cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  6. Add onion, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Stir well.
  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes until flavors combine.
  8. Remove the tater tot cones from the oven and allow them to cool slightly.
  9. Fill each cone with the beef mixture.
  10. Top with crumbled beef bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
  11. Return to the oven for 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts.
  12. Garnish with diced pickles and parsley.
  13. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Using a mini muffin pan helps create sturdy tater tot cones.
  • Turkey bacon may be substituted for beef bacon.
  • Add diced tomatoes or shredded lettuce for a true cheeseburger flavor.
  • Serve with burger sauce, ketchup, or ranch dressing.
  • Best enjoyed fresh while the cones remain crispy.
