Description

Espresso Tiramisu Yogurt Bark is a refreshing high-protein frozen dessert inspired by classic tiramisu. Creamy Greek yogurt is blended with espresso, vanilla, and honey, then topped with crushed ladyfingers, dark chocolate, and a light dusting of cocoa powder for an easy no-bake treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 4 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder dissolved in 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, plus extra for dusting
  • 6 ladyfinger cookies, roughly crushed
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa nibs (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon espresso beans, finely crushed (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a small baking tray or 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, mascarpone cheese, honey, dissolved espresso, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread the yogurt mixture evenly onto the prepared pan to about 1/2-inch thickness.
  4. Sprinkle the crushed ladyfingers evenly over the surface.
  5. Top with the dark chocolate, mini chocolate chips, and cocoa nibs if using.
  6. Lightly dust the top with additional cocoa powder.
  7. Freeze for 3-4 hours, or until completely firm.
  8. Break or cut into bark pieces and serve immediately.
  9. Store any remaining bark in an airtight freezer-safe container.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture.
  • Do not oversweeten—the cocoa and espresso flavors should remain prominent.
  • Allow the bark to sit at room temperature for 2-3 minutes before eating for the best texture.
  • For extra tiramisu flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or a splash of coffee extract.
  • Store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
