Description
Espresso Tiramisu Yogurt Bark is a refreshing high-protein frozen dessert inspired by classic tiramisu. Creamy Greek yogurt is blended with espresso, vanilla, and honey, then topped with crushed ladyfingers, dark chocolate, and a light dusting of cocoa powder for an easy no-bake treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 4 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder dissolved in 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, plus extra for dusting
- 6 ladyfinger cookies, roughly crushed
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cocoa nibs (optional)
- 1 teaspoon espresso beans, finely crushed (optional)
Instructions
- Line a small baking tray or 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, mascarpone cheese, honey, dissolved espresso, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the yogurt mixture evenly onto the prepared pan to about 1/2-inch thickness.
- Sprinkle the crushed ladyfingers evenly over the surface.
- Top with the dark chocolate, mini chocolate chips, and cocoa nibs if using.
- Lightly dust the top with additional cocoa powder.
- Freeze for 3-4 hours, or until completely firm.
- Break or cut into bark pieces and serve immediately.
- Store any remaining bark in an airtight freezer-safe container.
Notes
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture.
- Do not oversweeten—the cocoa and espresso flavors should remain prominent.
- Allow the bark to sit at room temperature for 2-3 minutes before eating for the best texture.
- For extra tiramisu flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or a splash of coffee extract.
- Store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
