Ingredients
- 2 beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin, about 8 oz each)
- 250 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Optional: mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables for serving
Instructions
- Pat the steaks dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the steaks for 3-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add minced garlic.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Add the remaining butter and lemon juice, stirring to coat the shrimp in the garlic butter sauce.
- Return the steaks to the skillet briefly to soak in the flavors.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with your preferred sides.
