Description

Juicy, tender steak bites seared to perfection and tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce, delivering crispy edges and bold flavor in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat steak bites dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat until very hot.
  3. Add steak bites in a single layer (cook in batches if needed) and sear for 2–3 minutes without stirring to develop a crust.
  4. Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and add butter, garlic, and thyme.
  6. Stir continuously, spooning the garlic butter over the steak for about 1–2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use a hot pan to achieve a crispy sear.
  • Avoid overcrowding the pan to prevent steaming.
  • Let steak rest at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before cooking.
  • Best served immediately for maximum juiciness.
