Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced

- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, cream of chicken soup, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.
- Fold in the cooked chicken, cooked noodles (or rice), and 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the crushed pretzels with the melted butter.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the casserole.
- Evenly distribute the buttered pretzel topping over the cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.
