Description

Hot Honey Burrata Salmon is a restaurant-quality seafood dish featuring perfectly seared salmon glazed with sweet and spicy hot honey, topped with creamy burrata cheese, and finished with fresh herbs and a touch of lemon. The contrast of rich salmon, silky burrata, and bold hot honey creates an unforgettable flavor combination.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes to make the hot honey glaze.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden and crisp.
  6. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until nearly cooked through.
  7. Add butter to the skillet and spoon over the salmon.
  8. Pour the hot honey glaze over the salmon and cook for 1 minute until glossy and caramelized.
  9. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice and lemon zest.
  10. Transfer salmon to a serving platter.
  11. Tear burrata into pieces and place over and around the salmon.
  12. Garnish with fresh basil and parsley.
  13. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
