Description

Hot Honey Salmon Alfredo is a creamy and indulgent pasta dish featuring flaky salmon glazed with sweet-spicy hot honey, tossed with tender fettuccine in a rich garlic Parmesan Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Season salmon with paprika, garlic powder, half of the salt, and black pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
  6. Brush or drizzle the hot honey mixture over the salmon during the last minute of cooking. Remove salmon and set aside.
  7. Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet.
  8. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  9. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  10. Stir in Parmesan cheese, remaining salt, and nutmeg until smooth and creamy.
  11. Add reserved pasta water if needed to thin the sauce.
  12. Toss cooked fettuccine in the Alfredo sauce until fully coated.
  13. Top with hot honey salmon pieces.
  14. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Freshly grated Parmesan melts more smoothly than pre-shredded cheese.
  • Adjust the hot sauce and red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
  • Do not overcook the salmon to keep it moist and flaky.
  • A splash of lemon juice brightens the rich Alfredo sauce.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 2 days.
