Description
Italian Antipasto Salad is a vibrant and refreshing dish loaded with crisp lettuce, cured meats, cheese, olives, and fresh vegetables tossed in a zesty Italian dressing.
Ingredients
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 2 cups mixed salad greens
- 100 g salami, sliced
- 100 g turkey ham or beef pepperoni, sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup black olives
- 1/2 cup green olives
- 1 cup mozzarella balls or cubed provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
- 1/4 cup pepperoncini peppers
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/3 cup Italian dressing
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and prepare all vegetables and salad ingredients.
- In a large salad bowl, combine romaine lettuce and mixed greens.
- Add salami, turkey ham or beef pepperoni, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, olives, cheese, roasted peppers, and pepperoncini.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley over the salad.
- Drizzle with Italian dressing and toss gently to coat.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately chilled or refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving.

- Use halal-certified deli meats for a halal version.
- You can add artichoke hearts or chickpeas for extra texture.
- Serve with crusty bread or garlic toast for a complete meal.
