Description

Italian Antipasto Salad is a vibrant and refreshing dish loaded with crisp lettuce, cured meats, cheese, olives, and fresh vegetables tossed in a zesty Italian dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 2 cups mixed salad greens
  • 100 g salami, sliced
  • 100 g turkey ham or beef pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup black olives
  • 1/2 cup green olives
  • 1 cup mozzarella balls or cubed provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini peppers
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/3 cup Italian dressing
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare all vegetables and salad ingredients.
  2. In a large salad bowl, combine romaine lettuce and mixed greens.
  3. Add salami, turkey ham or beef pepperoni, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, olives, cheese, roasted peppers, and pepperoncini.
  4. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the salad.
  5. Drizzle with Italian dressing and toss gently to coat.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Serve immediately chilled or refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use halal-certified deli meats for a halal version.
  • You can add artichoke hearts or chickpeas for extra texture.
  • Serve with crusty bread or garlic toast for a complete meal.
