Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced or pounded thin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in lemon juice, lemon zest, and chicken broth. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over the top.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to absorb flavors.
