Ingredients
- 20 oz refrigerated cheese ravioli
- 6 slices halal beef bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- Extra shredded cheddar cheese for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the ravioli according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream until smooth.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese and Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Mix in the sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cooked ravioli and gently toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
- Fold in most of the crumbled halal beef bacon, reserving some for garnish.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Top with the remaining halal beef bacon, green onions, chives, and extra cheddar cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
