Description

Loaded Chicken Caesar Flatbread Melt is a crispy, cheesy flatbread topped with seasoned chicken, creamy Caesar dressing, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and fresh romaine lettuce. This quick and satisfying meal combines the flavors of a classic Caesar salad with a warm, melty flatbread base.

Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads or naan breads
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup croutons, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. In a bowl, combine chicken, garlic powder, black pepper, and 1/4 cup Caesar dressing.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the flatbreads.
  5. Top with mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Scatter cherry tomatoes over the flatbreads.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are crisp.
  8. Meanwhile, toss romaine lettuce with the remaining Caesar dressing and lemon juice.
  9. Remove flatbreads from the oven and let cool for 1-2 minutes.
  10. Top with dressed romaine lettuce.
  11. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese, crushed croutons, and fresh parsley.
  12. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Rotisserie chicken works perfectly for a quick preparation.
  • Add turkey bacon for extra flavor and crunch.
  • Serve immediately after adding the lettuce to maintain crispness.
  • Naan bread creates a chewier, heartier base.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 2 days, though best enjoyed fresh.
