Description

Million Dollar Bacon Cheeseburger Bake is an ultra-creamy, cheesy comfort food casserole loaded with seasoned ground beef, crispy beef bacon, rich cream cheese, and melted cheddar cheese, all baked into a hearty cheeseburger-inspired dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 slices beef bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of cheddar soup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  6. Season with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  7. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cream of cheddar soup, 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and half of the crumbled beef bacon.
  8. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  9. Fold the beef mixture into the cheese mixture.
  10. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  11. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and beef bacon.
  12. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  13. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  14. Garnish with diced pickles, green onions, and parsley.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for the smoothest melt.
  • Ground turkey can be substituted for beef.
  • Serve with toasted buns, fries, or roasted potatoes for a complete meal.
  • Dill pickles add authentic cheeseburger flavor.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 4 days.
