Description
One-Pan Garlic Butter Steak & Potato Skillet is a hearty and flavorful meal featuring tender steak bites and crispy golden potatoes cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, all made in one skillet for an easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 1/2 lbs baby Yukon Gold potatoes, halved or quartered
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add potatoes and season with half of the salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and rosemary.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are golden brown and fork-tender.
- Remove potatoes from the skillet and set aside.
- Season steak bites with the remaining salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and rosemary.
- Add steak to the same skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return potatoes to the skillet and toss with the steak and garlic butter sauce.
- Drizzle with lemon juice if using and stir gently.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use ribeye steak for extra tenderness and flavor.
- Cut potatoes into similar sizes for even cooking.
- Do not overcrowd the skillet when searing steak.
- Add mushrooms or green beans for extra vegetables.
