Ingredients
- 12 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the macaroni according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream until smooth.
- Cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce begins to thicken.
- Stir in the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until completely melted.
- Fold the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Mix the crushed pretzels with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the macaroni.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly with a golden topping.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
