Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 hamburger buns, toasted
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 16 slices halal beef pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Fresh basil leaves (optional)
- Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
- Cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- During the last 2 minutes of cooking, spoon pizza sauce over each burger.
- Top each burger with mozzarella cheese, beef pepperoni, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
- Cover the skillet or close the grill lid until the cheese is melted.
- Lightly toast the hamburger buns.
- Place each pizza burger on a toasted bun.
- Sprinkle with dried oregano and garnish with fresh basil and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve immediately with fries, chips, or a fresh salad.

- Use freshly shredded mozzarella for the best melt.
- Turkey pepperoni can be substituted for beef pepperoni.
