Description

Snickers Poke Cake is a decadent dessert made with moist chocolate cake soaked in caramel, layered with fluffy whipped topping, chopped Snickers bars, roasted peanuts, and finished with chocolate and caramel drizzle. This crowd-pleasing treat is perfect for birthdays, potlucks, and holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients called for on the box
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 6 Snickers candy bars (1.86 oz each), chopped
  • 1/2 cup roasted salted peanuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup for drizzling
  • Mini chocolate chips (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake the chocolate cake according to the package directions in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes.
  3. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes evenly over the entire cake.
  4. Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce.
  5. Slowly pour the caramel mixture over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
  6. Cool the cake completely, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  7. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the chilled cake.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped Snickers bars and chopped peanuts over the whipped topping.
  9. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce and chocolate syrup.
  10. Garnish with mini chocolate chips if desired.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 2 more hours before serving.

Notes

  • Chilling the cake overnight produces the best flavor and texture.
  • Use fun-size Snickers if preferred, adjusting the quantity accordingly.
  • Warm the caramel sauce slightly for easier drizzling.
  • Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
